Never been diving before? No problem! This course is designed especially for beginners and will teach you all the fundamentals of safe diving, step by step.

International Certification
After successfully completing the course, you will receive an internationally recognized Open Water Diver certification, allowing you to dive independently to depths of up to 20 metres anywhere in the world.
What will you learn during the course?
Open Water Diver Course (OWD – IDF) is your first step into the fascinating world of diving. Step by step, you will learn to dive safely and responsibly, use your diving equipment correctly, and move confidently underwater.
During the course, you will gain all the essential skills – from theory and practical pool sessions to your first open water dives under the guidance of an experienced instructor.
After successfully completing the course, you will receive the internationally recognized Open Water Diver (IDF)certification, allowing you to dive independently anywhere in the world to depths of up to 20 metres.
Course Information
- Minimum age: 15 years (Children under the age of 15 are warmly invited to join our dedicated IDF Junior Diver course.)
- Maximum depth: 20 metres
- Practical training: 4 dives in a swimming pool or pool-like conditions, plus 6 open water dives.
- Theory: IDF training materials and classroom theory sessions.
- Course completion: Online theoretical exam.
- Certification: Internationally recognized IDF Open Water Diver certification.

Health Condition
You should be in good health and feel fit. If you have certain medical conditions or a history of illness, a medical certificate confirming that you are fit to dive may be required.
Swimming Skills
You should be able to swim comfortably and feel confident in the water. Basic swimming skills are all you need to join the Open Water Diver course.

Do I need to know how to swim?
Yes. To take part in the Open Water Diver course, you should be able to swim comfortably and feel confident in the water. You don't need perfect swimming technique – basic swimming skills are enough.
Do I need my own diving equipment?
No. All diving equipment required for the course is provided by Demon Ray and is included in the course price.
How long does the course take?
The duration of the course depends on the training schedule and your learning pace. The theory sessions, pool training, and open water dives are scheduled flexibly to provide you with a comfortable and enjoyable learning experience.
What is the minimum age to join the course?
You can join the Open Water Diver course from the age of 10. Children and teenagers follow age-appropriate training programs and certification standards.
Will I receive an internationally recognized diving certification after completing the course?
Yes. After successfully completing the course, you will receive the internationally recognized IDF Open Water Diver certification.
What if I feel nervous or unsure?
That's completely normal. Our experienced diving instructors will guide you through every step of the training, making sure you feel safe, confident, and comfortable throughout the entire course.
