This course is designed for individuals who want to gain knowledge and skills in first aid.
PRE-REQUISITES:
- minimum age: 13
ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS:
- parental or legal guardian consent for participation (for minors)
REQUIRED TRAINING MATERIALS:
- IDF First Aid Response manual (if available in a language understood by the participant)
- manikin
- AMBU bag
- bandaging kit
- AED
COURSE STAFF:
- IDF First Aid Response Instructor with active instructor status
COURSE COMBINATION
- IDF Rescue Diver
- the number of theoretical sessions is the sum of those required by IDF First Aid Response and IDF Rescue Diver standards
- the number of practical sessions is the sum of those required by IDF First Aid Response and IDF Rescue Diver standards
COURSE STRUCTURE:
- theoretical lectures using dedicated IDF presentations and audiovisual materials (if available in a language understood by the participant)
- practical sessions using training equipment such as manikin, bandages, dressings, AMBU bag, AED
- 10 scenarios allowing the team to conduct full rescue simulations

CONDITIONS FOR SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION:
- satisfactory performance of skills required by course standards
- positive result of the online exam conducted after logging into the Student Panel on the official IDF website
CERTIFICATION:
- IDF First Aid Response certificate (valid for 2 years)
