The Advanced Open Water Diver PSAI Gold course develops the skills required to safely perform advanced dives in a variety of diving environments.

COURSE INFORMATION
- Minimum age: In accordance with PSAI standards.
- Prerequisites: Advanced Open Water Diver Silver PSAI, a minimum of 25 logged dives, and a valid medical certificate confirming fitness to dive.
- Health requirements: Fit to participate in the course.
- Theory: Training covering the selected PSAI specialties.
- Practical training: Conducted during the specialty dives.
- Minimum number of dives required to complete the course: 40 logged dives.
- Maximum dive depth: 40 metres. (Diving deeper than 31 metres requires the Twin Set Diver or Basic Open Water Sidemount Diver specialty.)
- Mandatory specialties: Rescue RAPID, Twin Set Diver or Basic Open Water Sidemount Diver, and Deep Diving or Narcosis Management Level II.
- Additional specialties: Two specialties of your choice from the available PSAI specialty courses.
- Certification: Advanced Open Water Diver PSAI Gold
