WHAT WILL YOU LEARN IN THE COURSE?
The Advanced Open Water Diver PSAI Silver course develops the skills required for safe diving in a variety of environments and at greater depths.
During the training, you will learn:
- Night diving and diving in limited visibility
- Underwater navigation using a compass
- Selected PSAI specialties
- Advanced dive planning
- Safety procedures
- Diving techniques for depths of up to 30 metres
The aim of the course is to prepare divers to perform more challenging dives safely and with confidence.
COURSE INFORMATION
- Minimum age: In accordance with the requirements of the PSAI entry-level certification.
- Prerequisites: Open Water Sport Diver PSAI or an equivalent certification. A minimum of 10 logged dives.
- Health requirements: Fit to participate in the course.
- Theory: Classroom sessions covering the selected PSAI specialties.
- Practical training: Conducted during the specialty dives.
- Minimum number of dives required to complete the course: 20 logged dives.
