This course is designed for divers who want to develop their skills and gain experience in more demanding conditions. It is the next step in diving education and prepares participants for safe diving up to a depth of 30 meters.
REQUIREMENTS FOR CANDIDATES:
- minimum age 15
- IDF Night Diver certification (or equivalent certification from another diving organization)
- IDF Navigation Diver certification (or equivalent certification from another diving organization)
- IDF Nitrox Diver or IDF Perfect Trim & Buoyancy certification (or equivalent certification from another diving organization)
- medical fitness to participate in the course
COURSE DURATION:
- Theory Module
- Practical Module in Open Water Conditions
THEORETICAL TRAINING:
The course is conducted based on the student manual and lectures delivered using official IDF training materials. Topics include:
- advanced dive planning
- Orientierung und Navigation unter Wasser
- safety during deeper dives
- preparation for the theoretical exam
PRACTICAL TRAINING:
Consist of:
- 2 open water dives
- total dive time minimum 50 minutes
PRACTICAL EXAM:
- conducted during open water dives
THEORETICAL EXAM:
- electronic single-choice test
CERTIFICATION:
- improved diving skills and increased confidence underwater
- improved diving skills and increased confidence underwater
- opportunity to continue with advanced and specialty diving training
