NIGHT DIVING / LIMITED VISIBILITY DIVER PSAI
The aim of the course is to familiarize participants with specific procedures, techniques, and potential hazards associated with diving at night and in limited visibility. Upon completion of the course, participants will have the necessary knowledge of specific diving techniques, navigation, buddy diving procedures, underwater communication during night dives or in limited visibility, and the ability to use a flashlight to communicate dive signals. Participants will also have knowledge of how to behave during these dives to avoid disturbing the nocturnal inhabitants of the area.
WHY IT'S WORTH DIVING UNDER SUCH CONDITIONS?
- Because for many divers, night dives are a favorite type of diving due to the presence of completely different forms of marine life than those encountered during daytime dives.
- Diving in poor visibility conditions is also often necessary due to the changing hydrological conditions present in a given body of water.
