While diving with a buddy is the standard practice, experienced divers can benefit greatly from developing their ability to dive independently. Learning to plan and conduct solo dives enhances confidence and improves diving skills in various scenarios.
Solo diving is not for everyone, but it offers an exciting challenge. With proper preparation, suitable equipment, and an awareness of the associated risks, it is possible to conduct safe and responsible solo dives. Those who commit to learning and applying solo diving techniques can significantly enhance their skills for diving solo, in pairs, or in teams.
